Two corridors, two kinds of electrical work.
Growth-corridor zone (Pakenham, Officer, Cardinia Lakes, Lakeside, Heritage Springs, Pakenham East): a mix of brand-new estate homes and ageing early-2000s stock. New-build fit-off, EV chargers and solar-interface wiring on the new lots; switchboard and safety-switch upgrades, LED downlight conversions and renovation electrical on the homes now 15–20 years old. With around 255 new dwellings a year — and Pakenham East planned for 7,000+ homes — the volume of fit-off and upgrade work never stops.
Acreage & rural fringe (Beaconsfield, Pakenham Upper, Beaconsfield Upper, Gembrook, Maryknoll): larger blocks, more three-phase supplies, and power runs out to sheds, studios, pumps and automated gates. Premium homes with multi-zone lighting, three-phase EV charging and standby considerations. Longer cable runs and trenching are part of the job here.
The work we’re called for most.
- Emergencies: burning smells, tripping circuits, power loss — 24/7 across the whole shire.
- Switchboard upgrades: the number-one job on the corridor’s ageing estate boards.
- EV chargers: single-phase 7kW and three-phase 22kW, solar-integrated.
- Lighting & power: LED downlights, new points, fans, outdoor and reno work.
- Safety inspections: pre-purchase and rental compliance, RCD and smoke-alarm testing.
Compliance, every job.
All work is carried out by an A-grade licensed electrician under our Energy Safe Victoria registration (REC), to the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules. Prescribed work comes with a Certificate of Electrical Safety (CoES), and we handle United Energy network notification where it’s required — for EV chargers, larger loads and new connections.
